Former Vice President Joe Biden left many confused by a story he told during a campaign stop at a pool that Biden used to work at during his youth.
Biden, formerly a lifeguard, said he used to sit in the lifeguard chair during the summertime when children would swim up to him and play with his leg hair.
He said his leg hair would be particularly blonde during the summer and children would rub the hairs down his leg and watch them stand up again.
The former vice president also explained that he would allow children to sit on his lap while he was working.
“By the way, you know I sit on the stand and it’d get hot. I got a lot of — I got hairy legs that turn blonde in the sun,” Biden said per the Washington Examiner. “And the kids used to come up and reach in the pool and rub my leg down so it was straight and then watch the hair come back up again. They’d look at it.”
“So I learned about roaches, I learned about kids jumping on my lap and I loved kids jumping on my lap,” he also said.
This can’t be real life…

About two months before Iowa. . . I’m telling you, Biden is not going to be the nominee. If for some strange reason he is, Trump will crush him in the debates. https://t.co/Yjl1eA6fLP

At the same event, Biden told a bizarre story about how he nearly got into a fight when he used to work there. Biden said he kicked an individual out of the pool and that same person, with a couple of his friends, were standing in the parking lot with straight razors. Biden, who explained that a pool mechanic equipped him with a six-foot chain, faced the group and apologized for the earlier incident. The group accepted the apology and nixed the fight.

Better, longer version of Biden’s cornpop, rusty razor blades & rain barrels yarn. An infinitely less disturbing tale than the hairy legs & roaches story.
Reminder: he’s currently the Democrat frontrunner.pic.twitter.com/jAQXXEyluk

“Biden is the front-runner in the Democratic presidential primary. He leads in most polls with a RealClearPolitics polling average of 27% support,” the Washington Examiner reports.
This is the second time this week that people were left confused by the former vice president.
Another incident occurred when his wife, Jill Biden, was introducing him at a campaign stop in Iowa. During her remarks, she gestured over to her husband who was standing just to her right. She motioned her hand towards him, nearly hitting him when he then briefly put her hand in his mouth.
The Washington Examiner reports:
Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden began his “No Malarkey!” series of campaign stops in Iowa with a strange, awkward gesture toward his wife, Dr. Jill Biden.
On stage in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on Saturday, attempting to regain steam in his deflated campaign momentum, Biden, 77, caught the attention of the internet when he suddenly bit his wife’s fingertips as she was introducing him on stage. As Biden excitedly gestured toward her husband, he leaned over and playfully nibbled the tips of her fingers. Onlookers and press quickly shared images and videos of the event on social media, eliciting 100s of responses across the political spectrum, many wondering just what Biden was thinking.
Here are pictures and even a video of the incident:
