Caravan Migrants March to US Consulate Demanding Trump Let Them in or Pay Them Each $50,000

The migrants in Tijuana trying to get into the United States are tired of waiting, they say.

So two groups of migrants marched to the U.S. Consulate in Tijuana with a list of demands for the Trump administration.

The first group of about 100 migrants arrived at the consulate on Tuesday and demanded they be let in or the the U.S. give them $50,000 each to go home. They also presented a list of demands.

From Daily Mail:

Alfonso Guerreo Ulloa, an organizer from Honduras, told the San Diego Union-Tribune that the $50,000 figure is not a very big sum.

‘It may seem like a lot of money to you,’ he said.

‘But it is a small sum compared to everything the United States has stolen from Honduras.’

Thanks to this amount, he said, the migrants could return home and start a small business there.

Alrighty, now.

Anything else you would like? A house perhaps? With a swimming pool?

Other demands made by the migrants? That the U.S. remove Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez from office. The letter of demands blamed the “refugee crisis” on “decades of U.S. intervention in Central America.” Yes, how dare we give them millions in aid. How shameful.

And like any good blackmail demand, they gave the U.S. a time limit to answer their demands – 72 hours.

By contrast, the second group’s demands were more reasonable. They just asked that the asylum process be sped up to let 300 in every day as opposed to the 40-100 at the San Ysidro Port of Entry.

According to Douglas Matute, 38, a lot of them are leaving because “We thought they would let us in” but it isn’t happening.

So here’s the thing.

They don’t want to wait to go through the proper process to get here legally.

They don’t even want to wait for the asylum process which most wouldn’t even qualify for but which would probably get them into the country.

They want us to just let them in or give them lots of money to go away.

They really take the prize for gall.
