GOP Governor Participates In SWAT Challenge To Honor Fallen Deputy, Says He…

Saturday, former SEAL team member and Missouri Governor Eric Greitens joined the SWAT Challenge.

Per Bizpac Review:

When Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens was invited to participate in the Chris Parson’s Southeast Missouri SWAT Challenge in Fredericktown, Missouri over the weekend, he gave an enthusiastic yes.

The Republican governor is a former U.S. Navy SEAL, so such competition is second nature to him.

The event was in remembrance of “Deputy Chris Parsons, who was shot and killed in the line of duty on December 15, 2012 as a member of the Washington County Sheriff’s Department.”

The Governor had this to say about the event:

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to be here to honor Officer Parsons and all of the law enforcement officers who sacrifice so much for all of us,” he told 12 News.
