Journalist April Ryan Demands Trump Fix Baltimore’s Rat Problem

White House correspondent and CNN contributor April Ryan chimed into the latest feud between President Trump and Democratic Congressman Elijah Cummings.

In a flurry of tweets, Trump criticized Cummings and his handling of his congressional district, which includes much of Western Baltimore.

Trump said the district is “a disgusting, rat and rodent-infested mess,” adding “No human being would want to live there.”

“If he spent more time in Baltimore, maybe he could help clean up this very dangerous & filthy place,” the president also said.

Coming to Cummings’ defense amid a flurry of tweets from the president, Ryan said the White House has a worse rodent problem and said Trump should be the one doing more to solve both problems.

“The White House is infested with mice. Mice traps all over the place. We see dead mice in traps and mice running around a lot. Stink bugs infest the East Wing and what else??? Too much to tweet. @realDonaldTrump must be talking about where he lives instead of Baltimore!”

Ryan then demanded Trump fix Baltimore’s problems: “He needs to fix the problem. As president, he can fix that problem instead of laughing at it or does he know that?”

Twitchy reports:

Although Ryan’s tweet arrived much to the delight of fellow Resistors (as evidenced by the many replies), it was even more evidence that “Journalism” in the Trump era has taken a turn.

We don’t recall the WH press blaming Obama for what was happening in Baltimore when he was president.
