LOOK: Red Sox Fans Hang Massive ‘Trump 2020’ Banner in Fenway Park

The World Series defending champion Boston Red Sox won their latest clash with the Seattle Marines by a thunderous 14-1 scoreline, but the talk of the game concerned an incident which happened in the crowd.

Some Red Sox fans on the upper deck of Fenway Park draped a massive pro-Trump banner off of the edge and in full view of the entire stadium.

“The red-white-and-blue banner was displayed from an upper deck at Boston’s Fenway Park just before the sixth inning, as the moment was captured and posted on social media,” BizPac Review reports. “But within minutes, the banner was pulled down by fans directly below the deck.”

BizPac Review reports the Red Sox team did not respond to the incident:

There was no official response to the incident and it didn’t appear to affect the game which saw Boston with a 14-1 win. But it seemed to confirm that Boston Red Sox fans seem just as divided as the team over their feelings toward the president.

Trump hosted the team on Thursday for their defeat of the Los Angeles Dodgers in last year’s World Series game, but not all members attended the ceremony on the South Lawn of the White House. Most of the team’s black and Hispanic players joined manager Alex Cora in opting out of the invitation as a protest against alleged racist rhetoric by the president.
