After nearly two years of investigating Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, alleged collusion between Russian entities and members of the Trump campaign, and potential obstruction of justice by President Trump, Attorney General William Barr decided to make Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s final report publicly available.
The report was released on April 18, 2019, following a press conference from Barr where he explained the final decisions reached by Mueller; which included finding no evidence of collusion by Trump or members of his campaign and not finding enough evidence to determine whether Trump obstructed justice.
