First Lady Melania Trump is again under fire for her outfit.
This time, the “tolerant” Left is going after her choice to wear Timberland boots in Iraq, skin-colored pants on the flight home, and sunglasses at night—all in ONE day.
Check it out, via the Yahoo News:
Melania Trump made a surprise trip to Iraq on Wednesday with her husband President Donald Trump to meet with American troops stationed at Al Asad Air Base.
For the visit, which was unscheduled, Melania broke first lady precedent by traveling to an active combat zone. To take selfies with soldiers and speak military members, FLOTUS wore a suede mustard belted blouse with dark green pants.
It’s Melania’s shoe choice that really stood out though. The Timberland boots are being called an “out of touch” style selection by some on Twitter.
The Daily Wire reports one user on Twitter mockingly asked, “Is Melania rocking combat boots or Timbs in Iraq?”
Another user reportedly tweeted: “Melania’s wearing TIMBS! I’m done!”
The fashion critiques continued when the first lady left Iraq and flew home. Melania emerged from Air Force One with tan, skin-colored pants that also raised an issue on Twitter.
From USA Today:
While arriving in Washington, D.C., after trips to Iraq and Germany, the first lady stepped out in a green Prada peacoat and tight, tan leather pants Thursday. But some thought she wasn’t wearing any pants at all.
The optical illusion-esque pants left Twitter users confused, filling the social media site with strong reactions to the look.
“Can someone tell me why @FLOTUS got off of Marine One without pants and shoes and wearing sunglasses at night? I’m legit curious,” one user tweeted.
“@FLOTUS where are your pants? And sunglasses at night? Something isn’t right!” another said.
“It’s nighttime. Why is she wearing sunglasses? Is that really Melania?” one user asked.
It’s not just her outfit, as the Daily Wire reports some people online were critical of Melania’s White House Christmas decorations:
For some inexplicable reason, the Christmas season has been one where the Left has sent a lot of hate Melania Trump’s way. It all began when the First Lady unveiled her 2018 Christmas decor, with multiple outlets specifically targeting the 40 topiary trees strung together by cranberries and red berries in the East Colonnade of the White House. Vice even declared that Melania’s decor resembles a “circle of hell Dante could never have dreamed up.”
“It’s 2018: It’s well-established that we live in hell. It only makes sense that the first lady’s Christmas decorations would match the bleakness of the Trump era,” said Vice.
Vanity Fair said Melania Trump’s Christmas decor always seem to have “a touch of menace to them.”
“It wouldn’t be a Trump White House Christmas without, again, a menacing touch to what is otherwise a lavishly and beautifully wrought winter wonderland,” said VF. “This year, crimson red trees dotted a long hallway, dyed with what I assume is liberal blood a-boiling.”
