‘Tolerance’: Rob Lowe Shares ‘Secret To Roseanne’s Massive Ratings,’ Liberals Get Triggered Out Of This World

The reboot debut of “Roseanne” took the internet by storm scoring more than 18 million average viewers. Several television and media personalities have commented on the hit success and theorized why the show resonated so well with so many people.

Actor Rob Lowe suggested the show’s pilot episode showcased how people of differing political opinions and ideologies can (and should) remain civil, accepting, and even loving of each other.

“The secret to @therealroseanne massive ratings is that it celebrates people with huge political differences who are able to laugh and love together as they passionately disagree,” Lowe tweeted.

The comment was applauded by some.

“Exactly. The issue isn’t that the show caters to conservatives. It just gives them a seat at the table rather than pretending half of America is backwards or doesn’t exist,” Mark Hemingway wrote.

“Best take so far,” wrote Benny Johnson.

Other people, especially those on the “tolerant” Left disagreed, Twitchy reports:

The premiere of the “Roseanne” reboot on ABC received huge ratings, and actor Rob Lowe summed up why it resonated with so many people.

Right on cue though, Lowe’s tweet about the “Roseanne” show brought out some hefty disagreement from the Trump-triggered. Brace yourselves.
