The book has been called out by journalists because of its many factual errors and its dubious sourcing.

In a fiery interview on ABC’s “The View,” Meghan McCain called out Wolff for the many mistakes he makes in the book, such as The New York Times’ Maggie Haberman, Jonathan Martin, David Brooks, CNN’s Alisyn Camerota, Tony Blair, Tom Barrack, Kate Walsh and Anna Wintour all denying quotes.

McCain slammed Wolff, pointing to her own family’s experience with the book, “Game Change.”

“You know, Michael, your credibility is being questioned. Trump said the book is full of lies,” McCain said before Wolff interrupted her.

“Let’s remember who my credibility is being questioned by,” Wolff retorted.

McCain replied: “Let me finish. The New York Times’ Maggie Haberman, New York Times’ John Martin, David Brooks, CNN’s Alisyn Camerota, Tony Blair, Tom Barrack, Kate Walsh, Anna Wintour — all denying quotes [from your book].”

McCain added:

“[You wrote] The Washington Post reporter Mark Berman was in the Four Seasons the same time as Ivanka Trump — You admitted mixing up Mark with Mike Berman.

[You misstated] the age of the White House communications director. There are a lot of factual errors in here. What do you say to people?”

Wolff admitted that he had mixed up Mike and Mark Berman, but glossed over the other egregious errors in his book.

He shrugged off McCain’s question by saying all the liberal media reporters who are calling out his errors are just jealous because he had “scooped” them.
